About
Darina Granik entered the fashion and media world in 2008. She launched the first ever street style website IMOD in her native city Odessa, in Ukraine, which transitioned into a web magazine about fashion and culture in the city. She also worked as a columnist and a photo reporter for the largest print magazine of Odessa.
In 2012, Darina resumed her studies in Toronto, where she received a Certificate in Fashion Coordination and Styling, as well as a Master's of Arts in Fashion from Ryerson University. She did an internship with FAJO Magazine, where she subsequently became a Reporter. Her high-profile coverages at FAJO included the Royal Visit of the Danish Royal Family, as well as exclusive interviews with various celebrities, such as Lisa Ray and Harry Rosen.
Darina is also a fashion scholar, whose research focuses on style icons and their role in society. She has presented her research papers at the national and international academic conferences, in Ukraine, Canada, USA and Australia. Currently, she holds the position of Events Editor at FAJO Magazine.
